Description originale anglaise
Chef Anton has been nominated twice at the Magic Castle for W.C. Field’s Bar Magician of the Year. When you see these performances right from the Magic Castle, you will know why!
This three trick DVD includes the highly acclaimed: Con Man Code, the classic One Card Pete and FREE Bonus Trick Balancing Two Toothpicks. These routines are perfect for Bar Magic as well as Parlour and Stage performances.
Con Man Code
Chef Anton attempts to shatter the current World Memorization Record by memorizing the order of a shuffled deck of cards in 15 seconds. The audience is set, the clock is ticking, and suddenly he realizes this feat is far more difficult than he originally thought it would be. Rather than admitting defeat, he does what any good con man would do… he begins to overtly cheat.
This hilarious routine engages the audience and includes Chef Anton’s original Con Man Code – a 52 page PDF of a deck of cards with symbols representing each. In the end, not only does he prove he did in fact memorize the entire deck of cards, he leaves the audience feeling they just witnessed an amazing feat of skill.
One Card Pete
This is a classic story of a card cheat who was dealt an unbeatable hand only to find he was dealt one card too many. Faced with this moral dilemma, would he be honest and call « Misdeal! » or would he succumb to his cheating ways and hide the extra card? Regardless of his decision, karma chose this as an opportunity to teach him a lesson he would never forget.
Chef Anton’s twist on this gem truly demonstrates his showmanship. He is able to seamlessly weave in and out of the poem and encourage audience interaction. He has solved many of the problems with « story tricks » and teaches you the ins and outs of his routine. Perfect for Bar Magic as well as Parlour or Stage settings.
